Hero Wars Biscuit

Hero Wars pet Biscuit or in full name King Biscuit Hartmann von Würstenberg III is the ultimate counter to healers. Hero Wars developers like to release new heroes, pets, skins, etc to change the current meta. Biscuit will work great on heroes who can do area of effect (aoe) damage because of his patronage skill which will block up to 30% of the healing for 5 seconds. Some great examples would be Celeste, Lars, Aurora, and others. Also, Biscuit will reduce the power of Sebastian, boost the power of mages like Twins, Satori and others but we will get to that later in this post.

Biscuit skills explained

Hero Wars biscuit icy storm

Biscuit’s White skill: Icy Storm

Summons an Icy Storm under the enemies. The Storm deals magic damage and prevents enemies from receiving any healing from anyone but themselves for 5 seconds.

  • Damage: 37,165 (300% Skill Power + 85)
  • Cooldown: 15 seconds

Icy Storm is really great skill if timed right because you can counter almost all healing to the enemy team. There are multiple usages in my opinion for the Icy Storm. Here are some great examples of how and when you should use Icy Storm:

  • You can counter Martha’s Tea Party skill by activating Icy Storm right after Martha actives her Tea Party skill. Icy Storm will do aoe magic damage to the Totem and destroy it. Usage here is to do damage to deny healing.
  • You can simply deny healing when healers use their healing abilities, especially healing over time. In this case you won’t destroy healing source but you will deny healing by itself.
  • You can do damage to kill the enemy. Icy Storm doesn’t deal a lot of damage but sometimes it can be enough to take down enemies who are low on health and hard to reach to other heroes.

These were only some examples of how you can use Icy Storm. In the tips and tricks section, there will be more examples of how and what you can counter with this skill.

hero wars biscuit mighty snowball

Biscuit’s Green skill: Mighty Snowball

Biscuit creates a magic snowball and throws it at the first enemy who heals themselves. The snowball deals magic damage and slows the enemy down.

  • Slow duration: 10 (0.0405% Skill Power + 5) sec
  • Damage: 18,690 (150% Skill Power + 150)
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds

This skill can do some damage but 18690 damage every 10 seconds won’t be too noticeable. The main power for Mighty Snowball comes from the slow. What status effect slow provide – Slows attack, movement, and/or skill speed depending on the skill. This means the enemy hero will attack slower and receive less energy, also, skills will be on a longer cooldown and sometimes it can fight changing aspect.

We can take as an example Orion and Dorian combo because Dorian’s Vampiric Aura is an effect that allows other heroes to heal themselves which means Orion will heal himself and trigger Mighty Snowball on himself. When Orion will be under Mighty Snowball effect he will lose a lot of potential damage because of the slow.

Hero wars biscuit stayin' chill

PATRONAGE SKILL

Biscuit’s Violet skill: Stayin’ Chill

Attacks made by the owner reduce the healing received by the enemy for 5 seconds.

  • Reduces all healing by 30 (0.226% Patronage Power + 5) %

This skill is great for heroes who can do area of effect (aoe) damage with a low cooldown on these skills. The best example could be Celeste because of her in-built healing reducing abilities and aoe damage. Not only Celeste does aoe damage frequently which will deny 30% of incoming healing for 5 seconds to the enemy team but she will also deny healing by her skills as well. This means that sometimes all healing for the enemy team will be denied.

Also, this skill on right aoe damage hero like Aurora will waste Sebastian’s “Ode of Serenity” negative effect removal stacks (each time Sebastian uses “Ode of Serenity” he has 15 stacks of ability to remove negative effects from allies) and allow Twins to apply Watermarks or Satori Fox marks.

Items

Most of Biscuit’s power comes from items, especially from Violet items. Down below are stats distributed by Hero Wars developers for Biscuit by level, items, and skills:

Biscuit’s Max power 181943 from which 23.6% level, 2.9% skills, 1% base, 21.2% white to blue items, and 51.4% Violet Items.

Biscuit ‘s Patronage power 11064 from which 35,2% level, 0,2% base, 13,3% white to blue items, and 51.2% Violet Items.

Biscuit’s Skill power 12360 from which 31,6% level, 0,2% base, 22,4% white to blue items, and 45,9% Violet Items.

Biscuit’s Skill Magic penetration 47911 from which 3.1 % base, 31.7% white to blue items, and 65.1 % Violet Items.

Biscuit’s tips and tricks

  • Biscuit can active his “Icy Storm” skill to destroy Martha’s Totem and deny a lot of healing to the enemy team
  • Under “Icy Storm” effect Astaroth “Last Word” skill will resurrect himself with healing effect but if Astaroth will resurrect his allies they won’t receive healing and will be revived with only 1 health
  • “Mighty Snowball” skill will be triggered by heroes who are under Dorian’s “Vampiric Aura” effect even tho they haven’t built-in healing because “Vampiric aura” counts as effect who allows allies to self heal themselves
  • Sebastian’s and Celeste’s negative effect removal skills will remove only “Mighty Snowball” and “Stayin Chill” effect but these skills won’t counter healing prevention from “Icy Storm” skill because “Icy Storm” is applied to battlefield not hero.
  • Keep in mind that Sebastian can prevent 15 negative effects each time he uses his “Ode of Serenity” skill. This skill is a huge counter to mages like Twins and Satori. Biscuit can waste “Ode of Serenity” effect if you combine Biscuit with hero who can do aoe damage early in the fight and as many times as possible. Great example could be Aurora combined with Biscuit because she deals a lot of aoe damage and each time she damages enemy hero she applies “Stayin Chill” healing reduction effect which counts as negative effect.
  • Activate “Icy Storm” to deny healing to the enemy team or make a final blow to the enemey hero. Activating “Icy Storm” as soon as it goes up is wasting this skills potential.

How to counter Biscuit

Biscuit hasn’t any real counters. The best way how to deal with Biscuit is denying his biggest strength which is a healing reduction/denying. Run team composition which doesn’t rely on healing and Biscuit won’t be that useful. For example, Keira’s Blender team could be a solid choice if you aren’t against Helios.

Useful information about Biscuit skills and their impact on other heroes

Sebastian vs Biscuit

“Ode of Serenity” removes negative effects from “Mighty Snowball” and Biscuit’s Patronage Skill, but it doesn’t counter the healing prevention from “Icy Storm” because it’s an effect applied to the battlefield.

Celeste vs Biscuit

Celeste’s Purifying Sphere works similarly to Sebastian’s “Ode of Serenity”: removes negative effects from “Mighty Snowball” and “Stayin’ Chill,” but it doesn’t counter the healing prevention from “Icy Storm.”

Astaroth vs Biscuit

Astaroth healing works if Astaroth resurrects himself, but if it is cast on an ally it will resurrect a hero with 1 Health and won’t heal him.

How to trigger Biscuit’s Patronage Skill “Stayin’ Chill” on other heroes?

Any attacks that deal damage will trigger “Stayin’ Chill” — both Basic attacks and Skills. But if a skill does not deal any damage (like Lars‘ “Lord of the Storm” Skill), it will not trigger Biscuit’s Patronage Skill.

Dorian vs Biscuit

“Icy Storm” does not block self-healing, and Vampirism from “Initiation” counts as self-healing. But “Icy Storm” does block healing from other Dorian’s Skills — “Fountain of Blood” and “Ancestors’ Amulet”.

Oliver vs Biscuit?

Oliver’s Patronage Skill “Eternal Bloom” won’t be denied with Biscuit’s “Icy Storm” skill but all other healing from Oliver’s skills will be denied

Ziri vs Biscuit

Biscuit’s “Mighty Snowball” won’t trigger Ziri’s Skill “Shelter of Sands”

Does “Icy Storm” prevent Lilith from getting more Health via her “Possession” Skill?

“Icy Storm” doesn’t prevent Lilith from increasing her current and maximum Health from “Possession” skill. But Lilith will get less additional Health from “Possession” skill if she gets healing reduction effect from attacks of an enemy hero with Biscuit’s Patronage.

Patronage Heroes for Biscuit

There are a lot of heroes who can be patronized with Oliver. Let’s go over them and see if Oliver is the best option for them. Keep in mind that Oliver offers a health and armor passive boost which is really great option for a tank.

Hero wars Aurora and biscuit

Aurora and Biscuit

Aurora has many pet options. In my opinion, Aurora’s best option in terms of pet synergy is Cain. Extra dodge chance and ability to use active skill 2-3 times in 8 seconds all fight long is a great buff. I would consider using Biscuit if you haven’t any other hero who can do aoe damage to the enemy team and the enemy team has a lot of healing. In that case, Biscuit could be a little better than Cain. Also, hard mage teams won’t be too much concerned about dodge chance increase from Cain so switching to Biscuit against mages could be a good idea.

Hero wars Astaroth and biscuit

Astaroth and Biscuit

Astaroth can’t fully benefit from Biscuit’s skills. Extra armor is great on Astaroth but an extra magic attack won’t help him too much. Besides, that Astaroth won’t be able to apply Biscuit’s patronage skill to all enemy team, and in my opinion that is a missed opportunity to weaken the enemy team down. I would suggest going for Oliver over Biscuit in most cases.

Hero wars Alvanor and biscuit

Alvanor and Biscuit

Alvanor won’t be the best choice to patronage Biscuit with because only 2 out of 4 of his skills can benefit from a magic attack boost. “Wrath of Nature” skill does aoe damage but at the beginning of the fight, Alvanor will hit mostly 2 heroes only with this skill so Biscuit’s patronage skill won’t be used to its full potential. In my opinion, none of the pets really suits him perfectly so use one out of 4 pets who is not needed by the rest of the team.

Celeste and biscuit

Celeste and Biscuit

Celeste has so many great pets to choose from and she synergies really well with them. You can go for Merlin if you need more damage from her basic attacks and lower cooldowns on her skills. Does Celeste have trouble staying alive because of high burst damage? Go for Axel. Does the enemy have a lot of healing potential? Biscuit is your choice because Celeste will apply healing reduction by herself and from Buscuit’s patronage skill as well to multiple enemies. What is even better is that she can use her “White Night” skill really often so there won’t be too much room for healing.

Hero wars Biscuit and cornelius

Cornelius and Biscuit

Cornelius hasn’t really great pet synergy in my opinion. Magic attack scaling to his skills isn’t too high but sometimes that extra magic attack can be enough to fully one-shot enemy hero. Biscuit can come in handy when you can’t one-shot enemy with “Heavy Wisdom” skill because for the next 5 seconds enemy team will heal that low hero for 30% less. Even tho Cornelius stands in the middle or back of the team he can be sometimes one-shotted so Axel is a decent choice for him.

hero wars biscuit and faceless

Faceless and Biscuit

Faceless has a lot of options in terms of pets – Merlin, Biscuit, Mara, and Axel. Marlin probably is the best choice for Faceless because of extra magic attack, magic penetration, and skill speed increase. I feel that Biscuit, Mara, and Axel are situational patronage pets. Need more stun duration? Go for Mara. Need more survivability? Go for Axel. Need to reduce healing for the enemy team? Go for Biscuit. Remember, that Faceless has 2 skills that do aoe damage so Biscuit patronage skill will be used to its full potential. Faceless is often paired with Karkh and in some Karkh team compositions, Faceless will be the only mage hero who can benefit from Biscuit’s passive stats boost.

hero wars biscuit and heidi

Heidi and Biscuit

Heidi has a lot of options in terms of pets – Albus, Cain, Biscuit, and Axel. I feel like the only bad choice for Heidi is Cain because he won’t benefit from a physical attack buff and there is a low chance that Heidi will be able to receive that many basic attacks to fully benefit from extra energy and spam his active skill. Albus, Biscuit, and Axel are great options for Heidi. Albus will be great to increase Heidi’s pure damage, Biscuit will cut down healing for the enemy team and Axel will provide extra survivability to Heidi. The choice is up to you what you need the most.

Remember, that Heidi can do a lot of damage to multiple enemies and trigger Biscuit’s patronage skill. Also, magic attack scaling to Heidi’s skills is great, and the “Snake Charmer” skill will hit the lowest health enemy which is great since you don’t want that hero to be healed.

Hero wars Judge and biscuit

Judge and Biscuit

Judge can be patronaged with Biscuit, Oliver, and Axel. All three pets offer armor. Oliver will be great if you need survivability to Judge and he isn’t burst down in a few hits but taken down slowly. Axel will be great against high burst. Biscuit will be great to cut healing for the enemy. The choice is up to you what you need more. Judge luckily has “Ion Cyclone” skill which can hit all enemy team 4 times and between each hit, there is a small delay so the healing reduction will be applied for a longer time.

hero wars kai and biscuit

Kai and Biscuit

Kai has 3 options – Biscuit, Axel, and Merlin. All three pets will provide Kai with a magic attack which is great. Go for Merlin if Kai survives long enough in the team fights. Can’t survive high burst? Go for Axel. Want to cut healing? Go for Biscuit. If we are talking about Kai’s synergy with Biscuit then I can say that they synergize really well together because Kai will benefit from everything that Biscuit can offer. A decent choice if you have a place in your team for a Kai.

Lars and Biscuit

Lars and Biscuit

Cornelius is probably the biggest threat to Lars. Axel can deny Cornelius one-shotting Lars and allowing him to stay in the fight and do his job – dealing damage. If Lars can survive in team fights then I would go for Merlin or Biscuit because of extra damage or healing reduction to the enemy team. Mara can be a decent option if you need a magic defense buff.

Remember that Lars “Lord of the Storm” skill doesn’t trigger Biscuit’s patronage skill because that is only a dragging skill. While Lars drags the enemy team damage is dealt by Krista’s “Frozen Needles” skill. It is a better choice to use Biscuit with Krista.

Hero wars Biscuit and krista

Krista and Biscuit

Krista has 3 pet options – Biscuit, Axel, and Merlin. Krista has built-in defense from her violet skill so Axel’s patronage skill won’t be needed. Armor will come in handy but Biscuit almost always will be better than Axel because of its ability to cut down healing for the whole enemy team because of Krista’s aoe damage. Go for Merlin on Krista if you want to deal as much damage as possible and don’t think that fights will be long enough to need defense from other Axel or Biscuit.

Hero wars lian and biscuit

Lian and Biscuit

There is no doubt that Lian should be paired with Mara because Lian offers way too much crowd control because of her charms. Mara will increase charm duration and make the enemy go crazy. It is unlikely that Lian will be burst down by the enemy team so Axel won’t help too much unless you will use Lian as a tank. If that is the case then Axel could be a decent choice because of the armor buff. Lian won’t be able to utilize Biscuit’s patronage skill too often because charming enemy doesn’t count as damage dealing and won’t trigger Biscuit’s patronage skill.

Maya and biscuit

Maya and Biscuit

Maya has 3 options – Albus, Axel, and Biscuit. All of these pets will offer magic attack. Use Albus if you haven’t threats by the enemy team to kill Maya and deal some extra pure damage to the enemy team. Use Axel if you want to help Maya stay alive longer. Use Biscuit if you want to cut healing for the enemy team. Remember that Maya does damage over time that means each time she does damage to the enemy team that damage will reset Biscuit’s patronage skill.

Mojo and Biscuit

Mojo and Biscuit

I don’t recommend using Mojo because he is showing good results in my testings. If you have Mojo on your team that is most likely because of his damage so I would recommend going for Merlin to boost Mojo’s damage output. Need magic defense and want Mojo’s stuns to last longer? Go for Mara. Having trouble keeping Mojo alive long enough? Go for Axel. Want to cut healing for the enemy team? Go for Biscuit. Good thing is that Mojo’s active skill “Totem of Wrath” will hit all enemy team for a longer duration than other heroes so Biscuit’s patronage skill will be applied for a longer time once Mojo uses his active skill.

Orion and Biscuit

Orion and Biscuit

Orion is known for high magic damage output and high energy gain. Mostly he will be located in the middle of the team and combined with Dorian and Helios. Survivability shouldn’t be an issue for Orion unless Karkh or some other high-burst damage hero can take him down. If that is the case then go for Axel. Otherwise, I would recommend Merlin for extra damage or Biscuit for denying healing to the enemy team. Orion has constant aoe damage so pairing him with Biscuit is a great choice.

Phobos and biscuit

Phobos and Biscuit

Phobos has a high magic damage output and he can take down single target enemies. Mostly he will be located in the middle of the team and survivability should be an issue for Phobos unless Karkh or some other high-burst damage hero can take him down. If that is the case then go for Axel. Otherwise, I would recommend Merlin, Albus, or Biscuit depending on enemy team composition. Biscuit will be great when you want to take down the highest physical damage hero on the enemy team. Phobos will do damage to that hero with his “Paralysis” skill and deny 30% of the healing for 11 seconds because “Paralysis” skill will do damage for 6 seconds.

Rufus and biscuit

Rufus and Biscuit

Rufus is known because of his ability to counter magic-type team compositions. Armor and health won’t help him too much so it wouldn’t make much sense to use Oliver with Rufus together. Axel, Albus, and Biscuit offer magic attacks that synergize really well with Rufus’ skills. Axel probably is the best choice for Rufus but not an ideal match. Biscuit patronage skill will be triggered only by Rufus’ basic attacks so don’t waste Biscuit on Rufus.

Satori and biscuit

Satori and Biscuit

Satori has a high magic damage output with his Fox marks and he can take down the whole enemy team in a few seconds if the stars align right. Mostly he will be located in the middle of the team and survivability should be an issue for Satori unless Karkh or some other high-burst damage hero can take him down. If that is the case then go for Axel. Otherwise, I would recommend Merlin or Biscuit depending on enemy team composition. Extra magic penetration is great for Satori when combined with Merlin but if enemy team has a lot of healing potential I would go for Biscuit.

Cleaver and biscuit

Cleaver and Biscuit

Cleaver won’t benefit from Biscuit’s magic attack boost but he will utilize Biscuit’s armor and patronage skill pretty well. I would actually consider combining Cleaver with Biscuit if you haven’t any other hero who could utilize Biscuit’s magic attack boost.

Chabba and biscuit

Chabba and Biscuit

Using Biscuit with Chabba doesn’t make a lot of sense because Chabba will benefit only from Biscuit’s armor buff. Patronage skill will be triggered only by basic attacks. I recommend avoiding this combination.

Corvus and Biscuit

Corvus and Biscuit

Even though Corvus won’t benefit from Biscuit’s magic attack boost he is a decent choice to be paired with Biscuit. Extra armor is great on him but the best part about Corvus and Biscuit synergy is that Corvus Altar is up for a long time and each time enemy team heroes attack they will trigger Biscuit’s patronage skill. Go for Oliver if there aren’t too many healers on the enemy team or Corvus is dying too fast otherwise I would choose Biscuit.

Galahad and Biscuit

Galahad is a damage-type tank with built-in survivability. In my opinion, Albus is a bad pet for Galahad so you have to choose from 3 options – Fenris, Oliver or Biscuit. Fenris for extra damage, Oliver for extra survivability, or Biscuit to cut healing to the enemy team. Luckily Galahad does constantly a lot of damage to the enemy team. He has aoe damage, damage to the lowest health enemy, damage to nearby enemies so applying Biscuit’s patronage skill won’t be a problem.

helios and biscuit

Helios and Biscuit

Helios weak point is that she hasn’t a lot of magic penetration. That is a reason why she is combined with Orion most of the time. Merlin is possibly the best choice for Helios because Merlin can provide that magic penetration and extra magic attack. Axel can be useful for survivability against high burst damage in some fights. Biscuit doesn’t synergize too well with Helios because he won’t be able to trigger his patronage skill to many enemy team heroes.

Lilith and biscuit

Lilith and Biscuit

Lilith is all about surviving the early stage of the fight to stack her “Possession” skill and because unkillable because of insanely high health pool which will stack over time to infinity. Oliver can help Lilith to survive this early stage of the fight so if you are one of those troll players who like to make your enemies mad then Oliver the right choice for you. I strongly believe that Oliver is the best option for Lilith but if you have no problems keeping Lilith alive and you haven’t any other better option where to put Biscuit then you can use him on her.

luther and biscuit

Luther and Biscuit

Luther won’t benefit from Biscuit’s magic attack boost but if you haven’t other heroes who could apply healing reduction from Biscuit to the enemy team then Luther will do the job. If Luther is tanky enough then put Oliver on your second tank otherwise I would go for Oliver on Luther as a pet.

Peppy and biscuit

Peppy and Biscuit

Peppy is known for high magic damage output and synergy between her and Cleaver. Mostly she will be located in the middle of the team and survivability should be an issue for Peppy unless Karkh or some other high-burst damage hero can take her down. If that is the case then go for Axel. Otherwise, I would recommend Merlin, Mara, or Biscuit depending on enemy team composition. Peppy has aoe damage and she can hit all enemy team with her active skill “Masquerade”. Scaling from magic attack boost isn’t too high but overall Biscuit is a solid choice for Peppy.

Ziri and Biscuit

Ziri can be a beast in terms of damage taken and survivability. In my opinion, you will make your enemy even more furious when you will combine Ziri with Oliver because of insane self-healing. Just make sure you have someone who can protect your team while Ziri is recovering health underground. Even if your team all dies there will be plenty of fights where you will win on defense because of time running out to the enemy team. Even though Oliver most of the time will be the best choice you can go for Biscuit as well. Ziri’s second skill “Reflection of Pain” will reflect damage for 8 seconds to the enemy team. That means that each enemy’s team attack will trigger Biscuit’s patronage skill.

Thanks for the great analysis for so many different hero combinations. Gave me idea about using Biscuit to beat battles in adventure 13. Always have trouble with the 250% extra health teams, maybe Biscuit would work better than Oliver or Albus as the team pet.
